Janmashtami is a unique and popular festival of the Hindu community. They celebrated this festival with more happiness, joy, and great enthusiasm. Hindus decorate their houses with full sparkling lights and colorful rangolis. They believed that Lord Krishna was born in these days so they celebrate Janmashtami with so much enlightenment and decoration. Janmashtami is also known as Krishna Janmashtami or Gokul Ashtami. In these religious days, people set up temples with lights, jhulna and prasad. On this festival many devotees observe a fast on Janmashtami, either for the entire day or until midnight, this time is believed to be the time of Krishna's birth. Some are strictly fasting on these days and they aren't able to eat and drink. Some are drinking light milk and fruits.
